Just wanted to drop a note to say how much we enjoyed your little resort by the river.  We had a great time.  Rosie made us feel more like family than just customers.  Thanks again!

Thank you for your courtesy and for providing us with clean, comfortable and thoughtfully-appointed accommodations at you resort on Route 66!  The setting was peaceful and made us feel quite at home.  The holiday lights were beautiful against the dark star-filled sky!
We enjoyed talking with you about your plans to work with the community to raise more interest in the community by web site adaptations and resourcesOur good wishes go with you!  Thank you again for making our first overnight experience on Route 66 a great experience.

Rose, Many thanks for the spectacular view, we’ve seen many beautiful sunsets in our travels, but this was the first sunrise.  Gorgeous!
Thanks for the warm-hearted greeting.  Next time we’re out this way, we’ll remember Fender’s.

Fender’s is a piece of Route 66 that new managers Rose and Tim are restoring to its rightful status.  It is a clean, quiet, and pretty setting on the Colorado River in Needles, California with a great view. We are definitely coming back next fall on our next trip to visit these new friends.

Located on the beautiful Colorado River, this quaint, cozy and private motel and campground is being restored and wonderfully managed by Tim and Rosie.  They were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay at the (Fender’s) River Road Resort in Needles.

Though we hate to leave, we must today.  Thank you for your sweet hospitality and for this lovely park.  This place is on the top of our “return to” list and when I write my review I will give you 5 ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆

Great place. • First of all, location. It’s right by the river. You can swim, enjoy the view. • The host, Rosie, is very welcoming and warm-hearted. • Rooms are big, clean and simple. • Now, the furniture is a bit outdated and worn out, but I personally was fine with that. • And the last, but not the least – it’s quite affordable!

“Simply comfortable and relaxing place in a great location on the river.”
Traveling Route 66 by car and happened upon the Fender’s River Road Resort by chance and as it was so inviting looking and seemed (it is!) a genuine Rt 66 item we could not resist having a look and we were happily accomodated in a clean, comfortable room in this nice quiet motel resort. The room has all the conveniences one could want for a short or extended stay, the grounds are attractive and neatly kept and the longer term RV guests were friendly too.
The manager of the property, Rose, was also a friendly and gracious host we enjoyed visiting with.

This is the first RV park we came to in Needles. Rosie met us at the office. She is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. It’s a small, cozy park next to the river. The RV park and the laundry/shower facilties are clean. Hook-ups are easily available. Flowers are blooming already. If we are ever in Needles again, we’ll stay here.

“Too much fun”
Rosie and Tim went out of their way to make sure that our experience was the best. I have been coming to Needles since 1965 with my family and never knew this little jewel was out here. We stayed here in the motel/hotel and really enjoyed the company of Rosie and Tim. Management knew what they were doing when they brought these two on board with this property. We are looking forward to staying again and of course visiting with Rosie and Tim. We know there is working going on for improvements and can’t wait to see what is done when we get back.

Needles has a bunch of vintage motels. The most interesting one is Fender’s River Road Resort. It has a cool red neon sign and offers river side rooms. It’s a bit off of the main drag, but there is not all that much on that drag.
